As a gospel community, everything we do aims to help our people live on the mission of God to spread his glory through advance of the gospel in our city and beyond. Our worship gatherings, missional communities, discipleship groups, and day-to-day life together are shaped by this goal to make much of Jesus among those far from him. Our worship gatherings are structured to clearly communicate the gospel to all and call all to repentance and faith. Our missional communities serve, invite, pray for, and encourage one another in living on mission. Our discipleship groups provide accountability and prayer support for mission.
We pray. We support one another as messengers of the Gospel in our homes, schools, workplace, community life happens weekly in missional communities and discipleship groups.
We display. Living as a family with genuine love and brotherly affection rooted in the love of God in Christ is a tangible display of the gospel to our neighbors and friends.
We share. The gospel is news that makes a demand of every living person, therefore we work to declare the gospel through evangelism with bold patience as we pray for God to save.
We give. Our financial support for mission is built into every offering given to the church. We support the gospel work of Southern Baptists in the International Mission Board (www.imb.org) and North American Mission Board (www.namb.net) through the Cooperative Program with a percentage of every dollar that is given. We also support local missions such as a the work being done on the University of Memphis campus through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
