Pastors
Redeemer is led by a plurality of pastors. We believe the New Testament affirms two offices in the local church, pastors and deacons. Concerning pastors, the Bible uses three interchangeable terms to describe the office of pastor: pastor, elder and overseer (bishop). Our pastors serve together to shepherd Redeemer by teaching the Word of God, leading and equipping the church for ministry, providing pastoral care, and praying for the church.

Pastor
Stephen became a pastor at Redeemer in 2018. Having grown up in the area, he has lived variously around the South and Midwest with a brief stint abroad. He married Amanda in 2010 while a student in Birmingham, AL. In 2016 they moved to be closer to family and were drawn to Redeemer's understanding of the church as spiritual family. You'll find them hanging out with their three children, Ellis, Mabel, and Nathaniel, and having fun playing farm in the suburbs.
